The first Chinese mainland study tour for senior secondary students taking up their Citizenship and Social Development (CS) subject set off Monday to Guangzhou and Shenzhen.

Led by Secretary for Education Choi Yuk-lin, the delegation composed of around 250 students and teachers arrived at ZhiXin High School in Guangzhou on Monday morning for the first stop of their two-day trip.

Following a kick-off ceremony for the CS study tour, the delegation took part in some class activities while touring the campus.

In the afternoon, the delegation visited some attractions in the city.
