BEIJING - The Zhejiang Golden Bulls defeated the Shenzhen Aviators 91-87 to take the first game of the best-of-five semifinals of the 2022-23 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) playoffs on Tuesday.
Moses Wright had a game-high 30 points for Zhejiang, plus nine rebounds. Cheng Shuaipeng had 16 points. Wang Yibo added 15 points and six rebounds. Wu Qian finished with 10 points.
Jared Sullinger led Shenzhen with 24 points and 22 rebounds. He Xining contributed 21 points. Shen Zijie had 14 points and nine rebounds.
Zhejiang led Shenzhen 51-48 at the break before the home side made a 9-0 sprint to extend the lead to eight points. Jared Sullinger inspired Shenzhen for a 16-2 run to come back from behind, ending the third quarter 75-69.

Zhejiang rallied from six points down to lead 87-83 with a 12-2 run in the final period. Wu Qian buried two freethrows with 4.9 seconds left to help Zhejiang seal the victory.
