CHENGDU - China's paddlers Qian Tianyi/Zhao Shang beat their compatriots He Zhuojia/Wang Xiaotong 4-3 to grab the women's doubles title, and their male compatriots Xue Fei/Xu Yingbin edged over Hamada Kazuki/Tanigaki Yuma of Japan, also in 4-3 to claim the men's doubles title at the 31st FISU World University Games on Friday.

In the all-Chinese women's doubles final, Qian/Zhao defeated He/Wang 10-12, 8-11, 11-4, 11-5, 12-10, 9-11 and 11-5, and in the men's doubles final, Xue/Xu beat Kazuki/Yuma 7-11, 11-13, 11-8, 11-7, 9-11, 11-6, and 11-7.
After securing the two gold medals, China has already got five out of seven golds in this sport at the Universiade.
