Medical staff members have worked around the clock to protect the lives and health of child patients as Beijing has entered the peak season for respiratory infection diseases in winter.

According to the National Health Commission, the recent respiratory diseases are mainly due to the influenza virus, with additional cases caused by rhinoviruses, mycoplasma pneumoniae, respiratory syncytial virus, and adenovirus.
