Yuan Shuai's 30 points help Shanxi beat Jilin in CBA

BEIJING - In a Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) match on Saturday night, Yuan Shuai's stellar performance proved pivotal in Shanxi Loong's 119-115 victory over the Jilin Northeast Tigers on the road.

Jilin played the role of the pursuer throughout the game. It was in the final quarter that its guard Jiang Weize made a crucial three-pointer, narrowing the gap to single digit.

As the game reached its climax, Jilin rallied, with QJ Peterson leading the charge with consecutive baskets and momentarily helping the home team overtake their opponents.

However, the seasoned veteran Alexey Shved proved his mettle by sinking a pivotal three-pointer, stabilizing Shanxi's morale. Yuan also contributed significantly with a quick drive and subsequent free throws to help Shanxi emerge victorious. Shved added 21 points, five rebounds, and six assists.

In another riveting matchup, the Beijing Royal Fighters faced off against the heavily injured Nanjing Monkey Kings 100-92 at home. The Royal Fighters seized control early in the first quarter, establishing a 10-point lead. Throughout the game, Nanjing never managed to take the lead.
