HONG KONG - Hong Kong police on Tuesday morning found an object suspected to be a bomb outside a public restroom at Shenzhen Bay Port.
The incident happened after a suspected small-scale homemade bomb exploded at the Caritas Medical Centre in Hong Kong on Monday, and a public toilet at King George V Memorial Park in the city's Kowloon district was set ablaze in a suspected bombing Monday night.

The Police Public Relations Branch of the Hong Kong Police Force confirmed with China Daily that police received a report at 11:05 am that there was a suspicious object in a trash can at the Shenzhen Bay Port - a major checkpoint connecting southwestern Shenzhen and northwestern Hong Kong.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Bureau reached an initial suspicion that the object could be an explosive.

No one was hurt in the incident. Police are investigating the matter.
