The Football Association in England said its board had agreed for a June 1 time limit for the length of the season to be “extended indefinitely” for this season of professional soccer, according to a statement.
“Additionally, we have collectively agreed that the professional game in England will be further postponed until no earlier than 30 April,” the FA said.
“The progress of COVID-19 remains unclear and we can reassure everyone the health and welfare of players, staff and supporters are our priority.”
