BUCHAREST - Romanian President Klaus Iohannis announced on Monday that professional athletes will be able to resume training camps starting May 15, soon after the end of the state of emergency in the country.
"Performance athletes will be able to start training camps in very special conditions, which will be detailed by specialists, but will not start sports competitions until after a sufficiently long period of training," the president said after announcing that May 14 will be the last day of the state of emergency and the country will enter a state of alert from May 15, a level lower than the current one.
