7 students achieve top scores in HKDSE exam

HONG KONG - St Paul’s Co-educational College has topped the table at this year's Hong Kong Diploma for Secondary Education examination after producing three out of the seven top scorers.

One boy from St Paul’s Co-educational College and one girl from Diocesan Girls’ School were super achievers, attaining the best grade possible in an extended maths paper

The two boys and one girl were among seven students to score top marks of 5** in seven subjects in this year’s DSE exam.

Two other top scorers were from Diocesan Girls’ School and one each from Queen’s College and Wah Yan College.

Among the seven, one boy from St Paul’s Co-educational College and one girl from Diocesan Girls’ School were super achievers, attaining the best grade possible in an extended maths paper.

A total of 18,634 students, or 42.2 percent of the candidates, met the requirements for applying to eight local government-funded universities, according to the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority.

Most schools distributed the exam results online this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
