China's Ministry of Commerce issued a preliminary ruling Thursday on an anti-subsidy probe into wine imports from Australia, saying that such imports received subsidies from the Australian government, causing substantial damage to the domestic wine-making industries.

In accordance with Anti-dumping Regulations, China announced it will impose provisional anti-subsidy duties on wine imports from Australia starting Friday.
