PARIS - The 2021 new season of Formula One will have a record 23 races, as the FIA World Motor Sport Council has approved the provisional list of races, the FIA announced on Wednesday.
The 2020 season had planned to have 22 races but was completed with 17 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The inaugural Vietnam Grand Prix was canceled due to the coronavirus.
