GUANGZHOU - Shandong Taishan thrashed Shenzhen FC 4-2 to claim a three-match winning streak, while Guangzhou City won over Cangzhou Mighty Lions 2-0 in the 12th round of the Chinese Super League (CSL) here on Thursday.
Elsewhere, Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic downed Qingdao FC 1-0, Guangzhou FC draw with Henan Songshan Longmen scoreless
Xu Xin dribbled past four defenders and scored in the penalty area in the 4th minute off a long pass from Ji Xiang, helping Shandong to start the ruthless attacks.
Marouane Fellaini made it 2-0 for Shangdong with a header in the 19th minute after collecting a corner kick from Sun Zhunhao. Ten minutes later, Shangdong further extended the lead 3-0 as Guo Tianyu scored a header.

In the 31st minute, Shenzhen's Li Yuan converted the pass with a powerful volley. Just two minutes later, a powerful kick by Fellaini helped Shangdong to prevail 4-1. Frank Acheampong pulled a goal back for Shenzhen by a flip shot before the terminal.
In other game on Thursday, Guangzhou City beat Cangzhou Mighty Lions 2-0 thanks to Brazilian forward Tiago De Leonco and Columbian midfielder Jown Cardona's strikes.
