BEIJING - Over 1.2 billion people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 on the Chinese mainland as of Saturday, health authorities said on Sunday.

Close to 2.76 billion COVID-19 vaccine doses had been administered on the Chinese mainland, data from the National Health Commission showed.
