CE-designate John Lee meets S'pore national security chief

HONG KONG - Chief Executive-designate John Lee Ka-chiu met Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security of Singapore Teo Chee Hean at the Office of the Chief Executive-elect on Wednesday.

Lee welcomed Teo to Hong Kong and introduced to him the policy vision of the sixth-term Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government and the direction for Hong Kong's future development, according to a government statement issued on Wednesday afternoon.

Lee said that he looked forward to maintaining close ties between Hong Kong and Singapore after he assumes office.
