BEIJING - Guangzhou City kept their revival after Li Weifeng was appointed as head coach, with Ye Chugui's brace helping them thrash Hebei FC 4-0 in the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Saturday.

The struggling Hebei side had suffered a 14-game losing streak before the match, but something worse arrived.

Guangzhou City dominated the field with Ye Chugui's goals before the break and in the 72nd minute. Liu Weifeng was beaten by Guangzhou's Gui Hong in the 77th minute, and Song Wenjie rounded off a counter-attack in the stoppage time to sink Hebei

Hebei defender Liu Runnan substituted injured goalkeeper Bao Yaxiong in the 31st minute, and the short-handed side paid for it.
