Man Kam To port to fully restore service on Friday

Man Kam To port is scheduled to fully resume customs clearance of all inbound trucks from Hong Kong SAR to Shenzhen, Guangdong province starting from 7 am on July 28, including trucks transporting edible aquatic animals and fruits, according to the Office of Port of Entry and Exit of Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government on Thursday.

Ground subsidence occurred at the port on July 9, halting customs clearance for all inbound cars and trucks. On July 19, customs clearance service resumed for inbound cars and coaches carrying passengers. 

After repairs and a comprehensive safety check, the port will fully restore its service on Friday, said the office.
