BEIJING - The Work Safety Committee of China's State Council has decided to supervise the investigation into a gas spurt incident in the city of Ordos in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Ministry of Emergency Management said on Thursday.

On Sept 7, a high-pressure gas spurt occurred at a workshop of Yiding Ecological Agriculture Development Co, Ltd in an industrial park in Hangjin Banner, killing 10 people and injuring three others.
