MOSCOW - Commander of Russia's Black Sea Fleet Viktor Sokolov attended a meeting of the Russian Defense Ministry Board on Tuesday, according to footage posted on the defense ministry's website.

Kiev said Monday that Sokolov had been killed following Ukraine's missile attack on the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol last week.
Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Tuesday that there had been no information from the defense ministry on the alleged death of the official.
