Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant reports drone attack from Ukraine

MOSCOW - A training center building of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant (ZNPP) was attacked by a Ukrainian drone on Sunday, according to the plant's press service.

"A Ukrainian drone hit the roof of building 'G' at the ZNPP training center, where the world's only full-scale reactor hall simulator is located," the service said in a statement on Telegram.

No injuries were reported and no damage was done as a result of the attack, it added.

The ZNPP is the largest nuclear power plant in Europe with a total capacity of six gigawatts. At the end of February 2022, Russia took control of the facility.
