With Spring Festival comes fai chun

As the Spring Festival approaches, Ladder Street in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, has come alive with "Fai Chun", the traditional Chinese calligraphy decorations widely used during Chinese New Year. 

The phases on the decorations, often inscribed in black or gold ink, convey auspicious messages, such as good luck and prosperity.
