China has made autonomous and technical readjustment to the buoy in "relevant waters", Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said on Tuesday.
Guo made the remarks at a regular news conference, responding to a question over whether China has removed its buoy near the Diaoyu Islands.
China deployed the buoy for hydrometeorology observation, which was in line with its domestic law and international law, Guo said.
