US Defense Secretary urges Europe to boost defense spending

WARSAW - US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth urged Europe to increase spending on defense during his visit to Warsaw on Friday.

Hegseth underscored strong US-Polish relations, calling Poland a strategic frontline partner on NATO's eastern flank.

Polish Minister of National Defense Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz praised the alliance between the two countries, adding that the two sides had reached an agreement to collaborate on joint investments and enhance defense capabilities.
