Thai PM: 7,000 rescued from Myanmar to be handed over to Thailand

BANGKOK - Some 7,000 people rescued from illegal call center operations in Myanmar were waiting be transferred to Thailand, Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra said on Wednesday.

The government is acting quickly to resolve this problem, she said.
