When addressing the US imposition of an additional 10 percent tariff on goods imported from China, Lou condemned this move as a violation of World Trade Organization regulations, emphasizing its disruptive consequences for the global industrial and supply chain's security and stability.
Lou also called for the US to recommit to resolving issues through fair consultation and dialogue. He highlighted China's readiness to collaborate with other nations to uphold the multilateral trading system and oppose the rise of unilateralism and protectionism, aiming to promote an inclusive form of economic globalization that benefits all.
