Jin Dong: Chinese film and TV should embrace universal emotions for global appeal

2025 Two Sessions | Jin Dong, a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee and a famous actor, said that human emotions are universal. He suggested that Chinese films and TV dramas should focus on these shared emotions rather than trendy topics or gimmicks for a global audience.
