HONG KONG – ComplexCon Hong Kong 2025, set to begin on Mar 21, will feature an amalgamation of popular culture, music, fashion, art, cuisine, and streetwear in a captivating three-day international artist concert experience at the AsiaWorld-Expo.
In its second year, the global pop culture festival will establish Hong Kong as the sole overseas host city for this premier American event, introducing an eSports zone for the first time to integrate gaming and culture.
Participants can enjoy music performances by over 40 artists and explore more than 150 of the trendiest brands at the Complex Marketplace during the three-day event. The lineup includes genre-defining producer Metro Boomin, Korean hip-hop powerhouse ZICO, NJZ, as well as a mix of global and regional talents like Quavo, Digi Ghetto, and MC Jin.
Catalyzing digital intelligence
Shenzhen-based technology giant Huawei Technologies Co will host China Partner Conference 2025 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center on Mar 20-21. The conference aims to unite industry partners, amplify support networks, and accelerate the digital intelligence transformation process for businesses.
As digital intelligence emerges as a crucial driver in the transformation and upgrade of the Chinese manufacturing industry, many enterprises still find them grappling with challenges related to technology, talent, and funding.

Sky-high skateboarding duels
For the first time, international skateboarding event FISE Battle of the Champions will be held in Macao from Mar 21 to 23, bringing together 24 top skateboarders from around the world.
The competition, to be held at the Studio City Event Center, will feature a novel format where some of the world's best skateboarders will go head-to-head in one-on-one duels, displaying high-risk tricks and anti-gravity stunts.
Among the elite athletes at the competition are top Chinese mainland athletes including national team member Pan Jiajie and the 19th Asian Games gold medalist Cui Chenxi.
AI model center to fuel manufacturing
The Dongguan Artificial Intelligence Large Model Center is set to commence operations on Mar 19. As China’s first city-level large model center dedicated to the manufacturing sector, the center will serve to support local enterprises and public service management.
With 100 petaflops of domestic computing power, three foundational large models and two large models for manufacturing industry, the center will provide AI computing power, AI development platform and large model algorithm services for enterprises across the city, helping them enhance production efficiency.
The center is expected to play an important role in integrating AI with the manufacturing industry, driving transformation and upgrade of this traditional industry in Dongguan.
Development of venture capital
From Mar 22, Shenzhen will implement a new two-year action plan to promote the high-quality development of venture capital.
The action plan proposes that by the end of 2026, the city will strive to cultivate a trillion-yuan-level fund covering 28 significant industries. It also aims to increase the number of registered equity investment and venture capital funds to over 10,000.
