China's State Council appoints, removes officials

BEIJING - China's State Council on Wednesday announced the appointment and removal of several officials.
Li Xiaolong was appointed vice-minister of housing and urban-rural development.

Wu Jing was named president of Science and Technology Daily.
Zhang Zheng was removed from the post of vice-minister of culture and tourism.
