The Tianhe district government in Guangzhou is investing 30 million yuan to upgrade a 41.65-kilometer walking trail that links three forest parks and around 20 scenic spots.
The three forest parks -- Huolushan (火炉山), Longyandongshan (龙眼洞山), and Fenghuashan (凤凰山) – are all part of the Jiulian mountain range (九连山脉) as Southern China National Botanical Garden and Baiyuan mountain.
The improvement project will cover tourist service centers, resting areas, and signage along the trail, with the aim of enhancing the visitor experience. The work is expected to be completed within a year.
