HONG KONG – The Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2025 is set to begin on April 6, featuring nearly 40 thematic forums.

More than 400 experts and scholars will focus on vertical fields and provide cross-industry and all-rounded insights for investors, developers, and project owners during the four-day event.

The festival will also present a nonfungible token art exhibition and meta-universe games for attendees.

As Hong Kong, the virtual asset hub, steps up to build a vibrant ecosystem and policy framework of digital assets, the festival will discuss the challenges and opportunities of crypto-finance, how new payment-related technologies are reshaping the financial landscape, and the innovative applications of blockchain technology in interactive entertainment.

Interacting with intelligent robots

The 13th China Information Technology Expo (CITE), scheduled to be held in Shenzhen from April 9 to 11, will focus on cutting-edge technologies and products in fields such as humanoid robots and large models of artificial intelligence.

Themed “Technology leading, innovation gathering in Shenzhen”, the event will enable visitors to know details about the diversity of humanoid robots and artificial intelligence models by watching robots perform stunts, including folding clothes, making tea, and stir-frying.

Pedal to peak

A bicycle carnival scheduled for April 13 in Jiangmen is gearing up to pedal its way into the spotlight.

Thrilling races, family-friendly cycling tours, and cutting-edge bike tech showcases will be staged around the city’s Chaotou Park, attracting about 10,000 participants, said the organizers.

The carnival will offer a variety of competitions, ranging from 16-kilometer amateur races to a challenging 25.6km race for elite cyclists. The cycling tour covers a total route of 6.6km. All routes will pass through various scenic spots, merging the joy of cycling with local sightseeing.

Capitalizing on the momentum of the 15th National Games, which will be co-hosted by Guangdong province, Hong Kong and Macao in November, Jiangmen aims to fast track its mountain biking industry and establish itself not only as a powerhouse for bicycle manufacturing but also a hub for sports economy in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Printing fair

An international digital printing industry exhibition will take place from April 10 to 12 in Guangzhou, highlighting the latest advancements in inkjet printing, graphic design, advertising production, office equipment, image post-processing, and archival solutions to boost the printing sectors across Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao through cross-industry integration.

Over the past 12 years, the exhibition has grown from a 4,000-square-meter fair to the current 20,000-square-meter industrial gala, attracting over 2,000 vendors and hundreds of thousands of visitors for procurement and business matching.
