Guangzhou launched a new "air taxi" service on Tuesday, with more than 20 helicopter landing sites set up across the Guangdong capital.
The service, designed for business travel and cultural tourism, will shorten the travel time between Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhuhai to less than half an hour, marking a significant step in the region's development of low-altitude economy.
China Daily's Parker Zheng took the photos during a launching ceremony in Guangzhou's Panyu district.
