WELLINGTON - New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon wrapped up a productive three-day visit to Britain, reinforcing the bilateral relationship, said a New Zealand government statement on Thursday.

Luxon met with King Charles III and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, with both sides committing to deepening cooperation in a rapidly changing world, the statement said.

In a joint statement, they reaffirmed their support for the international rules-based order and pledged to enhance bilateral trade and investment.

"Export growth will be critical to improving our economic prospects in the coming years so our businesses can create more jobs and lift incomes for Kiwis," Luxon said, citing a 20 percent rise in New Zealand exports to Britain over the past year under the free trade agreement.
