BEIJING — The Agricultural Bank of China, one of China's biggest commercial lenders, reported steady profit growth in the first quarter this year.

The bank raked in 64.19 billion yuan (about US$9.10 billion) in net profits, rising 4.79 percent year-on-year, according to the bank's report filed with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
