BEIJING - Stephon Marbury's Beijing Royal Fighters scouted two US-based Chinese players during recent training sessions held during the CBA suspension.
Beijing has been preparing for a possible restart of the 2019-2020 CBA season, which was suspended since February 1 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Marbury, head coach for Beijing, watched teenage players Qu Junxuan and Liao Sanning in several training sessions.
Qu Junxuan is currently studying at California State University, Northridge. The 20-year-old center has also attracted interest from CBA champions Guangdong Tigers.
Liao Sanning, 19, started playing high-school league in US last year. He is considered as one of the best Chinese point guards at his age.

Beijing Royal Fighters, who signed a 3-year contract with Marbury last June, rank eighth in the current CBA standings.
