CBA: Wu Qian helps Zhejiang for three straight wins

ZHUJI - Guard Wu Qian from Zhejiang nearly got a triple-double with a game-high 21 points, 10 assists as Zhejiang Golden Bulls beat Shanxi Loongs in the third round of the 2020-21 Chinese Basketball Association league (CBA) on Thursday.

Wu Qian and Cheng Shuaipeng, both from Zhejiang, combined to score 14 points in the third quarter to help Zhejiang lead 90-64 into the last quarter

After being tied 14-14 early in the first quarter, Zhejiang stormed to a 10-3 run to lead 30-24 going into the second quarter.

Zhejiang kept a high shooting percentage in the second quarter. Wu Qian scored nine points in the quarter, giving the Golden Bulls a 58-44 lead at the halftime break.

Wu Qian and Cheng Shuaipeng, another promising star from Zhejiang, combined to score 14 points in the third quarter to help Zhejiang lead 90-64 into the last quarter.

The Jiangsu Dragons lost to the Guangzhou Loong Lions 92-73, five players of Guangzhou scored double digits as Moore had team high 18 points, while Jiang Haoran led Jiangsu with 17 points.

In another game on Thursday, the Shanghai Sharks eased past the Sichuan Blue Whales 102-90, the Beijing Ducks had an easy victory over the Shenzhen Aviators with 92-78.
