NEW DELHI - China came from behind to defeat Vietnam 3-1 in the AFC Women's Asian Cup quarterfinal in India's southwestern state of Maharashtra on Sunday.
China will face Japan in the semifinals on Feb 3.
Nguyen Thi Tuyet Dung put Vietnam in front in the 11th minute, but Wang Shuang leveled the score 15 minutes later, with a quickfire brace from Wang Shanshan and Tang Jiali early in the second half sealing the win for China.
Elsewhere, Yuika Sugasawa scored four goals and Hinata Miyazawa, Rin Sumida and Riko Ueki netted one each as Japan overwhelmed Thailand 7-0.

In South Korea's 1-0 victory over Australia, the lone goal came in the 87th minute from midfielder Ji So-yun, despite Australia's domination throughout the match.
