BEIJING - Beijing Guoan are braced for playing three consecutive games on the road after the Chinese Super League campaign restarts on Friday, said head coach Xie Feng.
The Chinese Super League will resume the home-and-away format in the second phase of this season after the first phase was played on a centralized basis across three cities due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the schedule for the second phase unveiled last week, Beijing Guoan will play their first three games away from home against Henan Songshan Longmen, Wuhan Three Towns and Wuhan FC
According to the schedule for the second phase unveiled last week, Beijing Guoan will play their first three games away from home against Henan Songshan Longmen, Wuhan Three Towns and Wuhan FC.
"We have to play three away games in a row, and the oppositions include the Henan side and Wuhan Three Towns — two of the top three teams of the league. The results of the games against these two teams could be crucial to our final standing at the league table," Xie said.
"We have to accept the schedule and make proper preparations," he said.
