HONG KONG - Top-ranked potter Ronnie O'Sullivan will participate in the Hong Kong Masters 2022, the Hong Kong Billiard Sports Control Council announced on Friday.

Besides O'Sullivan, Judd Trump, Mark Selby, Neil Robertson, John Higgins, Zhao Xintong, Marco Fu and Ng On-yee are also on the list

To mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, this prestigious invitational event will be staged from October 6 to 9.

Besides O'Sullivan, Judd Trump, Mark Selby, Neil Robertson, John Higgins, Zhao Xintong, Marco Fu and Ng On-yee are also on the list.

The event adopts an elimination format; the quarterfinals opts for best-of-nine while the semifinals and the final will be decided by best-of-11.

O'Sullivan will take on Ng On-yee in the first round.
