ZHUJI, China - The Qingdao Eagles nosed out the Guangzhou Loong Lions 88-86, while the Xinjiang Flying Tigers bagged a sixth straight win after beating the Shandong Heroes 100-95 in the Chinese Basketball Association league in Zhuji on Saturday.

Although Guangzhou began to tighten its defense and forced many turnovers from Qingdao, the team could not turn the table in clutch time as Reath stood out and helped Qingdao nail down the victory with a fierce attack of the rim.

Xinjiang soon built a 20-point advantage in the first three-quarters of the game against Shandong as Abudushalamu and Qi Lin were on fire from beyond the arc. Shandong began its strong attacks in the last quarter but failed to reverse the game.

Qilin scored a game-high 19 points on 11 shots, and Fall contributed a double-double of 14 points and 15 rebounds.

Also on Saturday, the Zhejiang Golden Bulls got past the Guangdong Southern Tigers 114-103, while the Shanghai Sharks crushed the Shanxi Loongs 132-113.
