Jinhua, in central Zhejiang province, on Monday launched a business training program for Hong Kong and Macao talents to encourage them to work or start their own businesses in the city.
Targeting people aged 45 and below who want to pursue careers in transportation and logistics, cross-border e-commerce, and international trade, the program is expected to sponsor more than 300 people each year.
With the aim of building the eastern China city into an international hub, Jinhua will give full play to its resources and advantages to enhance the entrepreneurial skills of Hong Kong and Macao residents

According to the program, Jinhua will establish a training base for Hong Kong and Macao talents to start their own businesses, introduce support policies, and organize startup competitions.
Taking the training program as a significant link between Jinhua and the SARs to strengthen talent and trade exchanges, Jinhua plans to stage an array of youth activities.

Jinhua has maintained close ties with the SARs in recent years, organizing a series of activities for Hong Kong youth to attend study tours in Jinhua, providing them with opportunities to experience the charm of the city’s e-commerce business and traditional culture.
Jinhua held its first exchange event themed on employment and entrepreneurship for Hong Kong and Macao talents in July 2022.
