The Greater Bay Area Film Concert 2023, which will bring together more than 100 filmmakers, musicians and social dignities from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao to celebrate the 26th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland, will be held on Thursday night in Hong Kong.
Titled “A Full Moon Rising above the Greater Bay Area,” it will showcase the new achievements of "one country, two systems" and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The China Movie Channel Programme Centre, Bauhinia Culture Group Co., Ltd, and Phoenix Television collaborated to organize the event
The concert will be hosted by movie directors Wu Jing and Su Youpeng, and over scores of heavyweight musicians and movie stars, including Jackie Chan, Andy Lau Tak-wah, Zhang Ziyi, and Huang Bo, will perform. Veteran Hong Kong singers Paula Tsui Siu-fung and Wang Ming-chun will appear as special guests.

Wang Pingjiu, the director of the concert, said that the event will feature classic songs from various eras, with a particular focus on conveying the voices of the people and telling stories through music, to create an audio-visual spectacle that integrates the classics with modernity.
The China Movie Channel Programme Centre, Bauhinia Culture Group Co., Ltd, and Phoenix Television collaborated to organize the event, with Television Broadcasts Limited and Shenzhen Media Group as co-hosts and Emperor Entertainment Group Limited as the supporting organizer.

The concert will air live at 8 pm on Thursday on CCTV-6 movie channel, various leading television stations in the Greater Bay Area, and new media platforms.
