SHANGHAI - Shanghai Port delivered a stunning 5-0 victory over Shanghai Shenhua in the local derby during the 2023 Chinese Super League (CSL) on Saturday.
After this match, Shanghai Port sits atop the league with 46 points, while Shanghai Shenhua holds onto second place with 35 points
Brazilian forward Oscar initiated the scoring for Shanghai Port with a penalty in the 42nd minute, followed by Wu Lei netting two goals in the 44th and 63rd minutes.
Merely three minutes later, Oscar notched his second goal to extend the lead to 4-0. Then, in the 84th minute, Lv Wenjun found the net off a pass from Wei Zhen.

After this match, Shanghai Port sits atop the league with 46 points, while Shanghai Shenhua holds onto second place with 35 points.
In another encounter, third-placed Chengdu Rongcheng suffered a 2-1 defeat to Zhejiang FC. South Korean Kim Min-woo netted a goal in the 17th minute to give Chengdu a 1-0 lead. However, Brazilian forward Leonardo Souza's header equalized for Zhejiang 14 minutes later, before Yao Junsheng scored the deciding goal in the 46th minute.

In other games, Meizhou Hakka and Cangzhou Mighty Lions eked out 2-1 victories over Dalian Pro and Nantong Zhiyun respectively, and Tianjin Jinmen Tiger held Changchun Yatai to a 0-0 draw.
