CSL: Wuhan Three Towns beat Nantong Zhiyun

BEIJING - Wuhan Three Towns beat Nantong Zhiyun 4-2 at home in the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Sunday.

David Puclin broke the deadlock for Nantong in the 14th minute from close range. Four minutes later, Brazilian striker Davidson equalized with a long-range effort for Wuhan.

In the 32nd minute, Davidson ran square from the left and took a quick shot to score his second of the game, followed shortly by Ghana forward Abdul-Aziz Yakubu blasting home, helping Wuhan lead 3-1 at half-time.

In the second half, Puclin found the net again in the 57th minute from Ruan Yang's corner. However, Brazilian forward Marcos scored a stunning shot in the 70th minute to seal the match at 4-2.

Shanghai Port still sits top of the table with 53 points from 24 games, nine points ahead of Shandong Taishan and 11 points ahead of Shanghai Shenhua.
