BEIJING - Shanghai Port beat Nantong Zhiyun 1-0 in Friday's 27th round of the Chinese Super League (CSL).
In the 29th minute, Wu Lei scored with a header in the penalty area, marking his 15th goal of the season. In the second half, Matias Vargas repeatedly created scoring opportunities but failed to convert on them, and Oscar had a goal disallowed. The score remained 1-0 until the final whistle.
Tianjin Jinmen Tigers and Chengdu Rongcheng played to a 2-2 draw. Shenzhen FC suffered a 1-0 defeat against Changchun Yatai
After securing victory in the round, Shanghai Port still tops the table with 59 points, while Shandong Taishan sits in second with 51 points. With only three games left, Shanghai can secure an early championship by winning their next match against Beijing Guoan at home.

In other matches on Friday, Meizhou Hakka secured a 1-0 win over Cangzhou Mighty Lions. Shandong Taishan beat Wuhan Three Towns 2-1. Tianjin Jinmen Tigers and Chengdu Rongcheng played to a 2-2 draw. Shenzhen FC suffered a 1-0 defeat against Changchun Yatai.
