BEIJING - The Liaoning Flying Leopards narrowly defeated the Shandong Heroes 111-108 for their 11th consecutive victory of the season, while the Xinjiang Flying Tigers overcame the Jilin Northeast Tigers 112-99 in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) League on Sunday.
Shandong and Liaoning engaged in a close contest in the first quarter. They were so evenly matched that neither team could secure a decisive advantage. The second quarter ended with Shandong leading 63-62, after a back-and-forth battle.
In the third quarter, Shandong continued to perform strongly and held onto their lead with an 86-84 advantage. Liaoning surpassed Shandong in the final few minutes of the fourth quarter and eventually secured the victory, extending their winning streak to 11 games.

After winning the game, Liaoning remains the only unbeaten team in the season, occupying the top spot in the league.
In another game, Xinjiang took an early lead and established a 35-18 advantage in the first quarter. Jilin attempted a comeback but failed to reduce the deficit, resulting in their eighth consecutive loss.

Also on Sunday, the Zhejiang Golden Bulls narrowly beat the Ningbo Rockets 94-81, the Shanghai Sharks squeezed past the Jiangsu Dragons 101-99, and the Shenzhen Aviators triumphed over the Guangzhou Loong Lions 115-108.
