HONG KONG - Chief Secretary for Administration Eric Chan Kwok-ki will embark on Monday on a three-day visit to three Chinese mainland cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to strengthen exchanges and cooperation.
Chan will meet with government leaders of Guangdong province and the cities of Guangzhou, Huizhou and Shenzhen to discuss issues of mutual concern, according to a Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government statement.

Chan will attend the signing ceremony of a framework agreement on promoting Guangdong-Hong Kong talent cooperation and co-chair with a government leader of Guangdong province the inaugural meeting of the coordination mechanism on Guangdong-Hong Kong talent cooperation.
He will also visit a number of companies and organizations, and meet with Hong Kong residents and enterprises in the three GBA cities, according to the statement.
Secretary for Security Chris Tang Ping-keung; Secretary for Transport and Logistics Lam Sai-hung; Secretary for Labour and Welfare Chris Sun Yuk-han; and Under Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry Lillian Cheong Man-lei will join the trip to Guangzhou on Monday.

Deputy Chief Secretary for Administration Cheuk Wing-hing will be the Acting Chief Secretary for Administration until Chan returns on Jan 10.
