BEIJING - Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Wednesday sent a congratulatory message to Cho Tae-yul on assuming office as foreign minister of South Korea.

Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, noted that China and South Korea are each other's important neighbor and strategic cooperative partner.
