XI'AN — Chinese Premier Li Qiang has called for efforts to promote industrial innovation through scientific and technological innovation, and accelerate the cultivation of new productive forces.

Li, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, made the remarks during an inspection tour in northwest China's Shaanxi province from Monday to Tuesday.
