KUALA LUMPUR - China got mixed results on the second day of the Badminton Asia Team Championships 2024 on Wednesday.
Its women's singles shuttler Wang Zhiyi easily outplayed India's Ashmita Chaliha 21-13, 21-15 while women's doubles duo Liu Shengshu and Tan Ning overpowered India's Tanisha Crasto and Ashwini Ponnappa 21-19, 21-16.
However, other two women's singles shuttlers Han Yue and Wu Luoyu were knocked out while women's doubles pair Li Yijing and Luo Xumin also failed to make the cut.

The tournament, a qualifying stage for the 2024 Thomas and Uber Cup, offers ranking points for the qualification of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. It was running from Feb 13 to 18 at the Setia City Convention Centre in Shah Alam, Selangor state.
