Multiple forest fires broke out in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region recently, triggering a Level IV emergency response, said the region's Emergency Management Department on Thursday. So far, there have been no casualties.

From Sunday to Tuesday, the national satellite fire monitoring system detected 22 hotspots in northern and western Guangxi, data from the department showed.

On Wednesday, a mountain fire broke out in Leye county of Baise. Strong winds have caused the fire to spread to around 133.33 hectares. Additionally, two fires broke out in Tian'e county of Hechi.

The Emergency Management Department and the Forestry Bureau of the region have dispatched working groups to organize forest fire prevention and extinguishment inspections in high-risk cities and counties. 

Guangxi has also deployed a team of 315 rescue personnel and two aerial firefighting helicopters to carry out defense and rescue missions in critical areas, according to the department.
