URUMQI - In a playoff clash in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) on Thursday night, the Xinjiang Flying Tigers soared to victory over the Zhejiang Golden Bulls 125-90, seizing a 1-0 advantage in the best-of-five semifinal series.

From the opening tip-off, Zhejiang struggled to find their range from beyond the arc, allowing Xinjiang to unleash a 12-2 run. Exploiting Zhejiang's weaknesses in the paint, Xinjiang focused on creating havoc inside, with Zhao Rui's penetrating drives proving too much for the opposition to handle. By halftime, Xinjiang had established a 10-point lead.
